Pickleball Registration Information

Please read carefully for some important details regarding the Pickleball registration process.

Returning Beaumont Curling Club Members, please log into your member profile and use the "Please Click Here to Complete your League Registration" link at the top of the Member's Homepage.
New Members to the Beaumont Curling Club, please use the "Click Here to Register for an Online Account" link at the top of the Homepage of our website.
- Once you have filled out that information, a request will be sent to the club to approve your account.
- Once approved, you will have to log in to your new account and complete the registration process through there, the same as returning members.
Please note: Beause our website is Curling Specific, there are some questions required for all participants under the "Curling Info" area of the registration process. We are unable to remove these questions. If you are only participating in Pickleball this summer and are not a regular curler, for the required questions, please use the following answers:
- Skill Level - New to Curling
- Number of Years Curled - 0
- Are you a New Member to this Club - No
- Please Select your Primary and Secondary Role for Reporting - Club League Curler and Able Bodied
If, after you have filled out your personal information and clicked "Continue with your Sign Up" the screen does not change and move forwards, please scroll up and ensure that all of your information has been filled out correctly. Certain things, such as your phone number being entered in the incorrect format, will not allow you to move forward with the process. When you scroll up, you should see any problem areas highlighted in red.
When you arrive to the screen that asks if you would like a locker and asks about your Curling Alberta fee information, please leave the Curling Alberta Fee drop down menu set to "No - Not Applicable." This is a curling specific fee - required on our website. For the purposes of Pickleball, the fee has been set to $0.00.

Pickleball Lessons

The Beaumont Curling Club is currently working on trying to organize lessons for the start of the Pickleball Season. Please check back and stay tuned for announcements.

"Pickleball is a fast-paced sport that has many similarities to tennis, badminton and table tennis (Ping-Pong). It is played on a level court with short-handled paddles and a perforated hollow plastic ball that is volleyed over a low net. Matches feature two opposing players (singles) or two pairs of players (doubles), and the sport can be played either outdoors or indoors. Pickleball was invented in the United States in 1965, and in the early 21st century it experienced rapid growth. It is now played worldwide by people of all ages and skill levels."

Pickleball Leagues

Registration for Pickleball Leagues opens April 8th, 2024.

** To Register, please click the link at the top of the home page of the Beaumont Curling Club Website. Returning members, use your login information from the curling season to log into your account and complete the registration. New members, please use the New Member link and submit a request to the club for membership access. Once access has been granted, you will be able to log into your arround and complete the registration for your chosen Pickleball League. **

Leagues Offered Spring 2024

Day Leagues - Single Player

*12 people are required for each session to run*

Tuesdays from 9:30 - 11:30 am
- May 7th - 28th, 2024
- June 4th - 25th, 2024

Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 am
- May 9th - 30th, 2024
- June 6th - 27th, 2024

Cost: $32/player for 4 weeks

Evening Leagues - Two Player

Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- May 7th - 28th, 2024
- June 4th - 25th, 2024

Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- May 8th - May 29th, 2024
- June 5th - 26th, 2024

Thursdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- May 9th - May 30th, 2024
- June 6th - 27th, 2024

Fridays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- May 10th - May 31st, 2024
- June 7th - 28th, 2024

Cost: $44/player ($88 for two players)

*Please note: Registration is for one day or evening league per week only. If players want to play multiple times per week, they will need to register and pay for all the leagues they wish to join.

*All players are required to create their own account to register and pay. One player cannot register for two people.

Drop in Pickleball

Mondays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- May 7th- June 24th, 2024
Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
- May 8th - June 26th, 2024

Cost: $8/player

*Drop in is first come-first served. Courts cannot be booked during this timeslot. Please arrive in a timely fashion to ensure that there is room for you to play.
